Our story

From the hackathon floor to the sponsor's table

In 2023 we showed up at the first Machakos University Hackfest as participants. We came back in 2024. In 2025 we sponsored it and ran the engineering workshop. In between, we delivered more than fifteen projects for paying clients, built a wholly owned product and two joint ventures, published research on Swahili NLP and started Guild Code Community. We have done all of it on our own revenue.
